Keyboard/Mouse Review

Keyboard/Mouse Review

My mouse broke. I was able to get another keyboard/mouse set at work but its’ just not as good as the one I had before. I decided to suck it up and invest in a good keyboard and mouse. I’m on the computer enough (for work and personal) that I should use a good one. Here are 4 I bought off amazon and how I’d review them.

My requirements were – smaller profile (w/or w/out a keypad); I didn’t want to be reaching too much for the mouse and wanted it as close to my body as possible (ergonomically!). I also don’t want anything loud – I’m very sensitive to sounds and like to type quietly so I didn’t want anything too loud. For a mouse, I wanted the same quiet clicks and something flatter so my wrist wasn’t too raised.

Tecknect Wireless Keyboard & Mouse (TK-KM006) – $26 CAD

  • Small profile
  • Quiet keys on keyboard
  • Shorter profile to my 13″ laptop
  • Mouse is quiet and just slightly raised
  • Mouse scroll is a bit loud in that there’s a sound which I don’t love
  • very light weight, almost too light it feels a bit cheap

Logitech SLIM Combo MK470 – $49

  • keys are more creamy? Still quiet but harder to type
  • longer than my laptop

SABLUTE KC302 Wireless and Mouse – $38

  • Very lage profile
  • super cute and very tactile
  • Mouse is very bulbous and cheap

SABLUTE Coloured Backlight Wireless Keyboard and Mouse – $44.99

  • Very large
  • Buttons are difficult to press down and far apart
  • Mouse is also very bulbous

Mofii M3 Cat Mouse

  • Very cheap
  • Super cute but not great quality
  • quiet clicking

I’m not quite satisfied with these finds, keep you posted as I continue my search! Keep you posted for post 2 where I test out more keyboard/mouse combos!
