A friend recently booked a trip to Honolulu and it’s brought me back to all the wonderful memories we created as a family throughout our visits to those very special islands. I thought I’d create a post about all the places we went and tips & tricks we accumulated along the way

Getting There & Getting Around

If you’re traveling from Toronto like we do, Air Canada has non-stop flights to both Oahu and Maui islands of Hawaii. If you time it right, you can fly into Honolulu and flight back through Maui maximizing your visit. Typically flights are leaving Toronto mid-day and arriving into Honolulu early evening. The Daniel K. Inouye International Airport is an adorable airport with many parts of it outside and about 30 mins Uber ride to Waikiki.

If you’re looking to explore the islands, we’d highly recommend Turo. Not only is the pick-up/drop-off super convenient, the host is typically super friend and more than happy to give any local tips/tricks to help you enjoy your stay!
