After what feels like 2 dismal years of growing, this year is turning out to be a good one! I started a bunch of seeds early and so many have really taken off!
Here are some lettuces I’ve grown indoors: arugula, romaine and red leaf! It’s been a nice compliment to any salad 🙂

I’ve also started a bunch of tomato seeds! Richter’s Herbs has the best variety of hard to find seeds! I’ve planted Purple Cherokee Tomatoes that kind of resemble a kumato? So hopefully they turn out! I’m actually the worst when it comes to thinning out seeds (you’re supposed to plant 2 seeds per pod then murder the smaller one so the bigger one can thrive but who can actually do that?) I’ve been pulling out the weaker/smaller seedling and replanting it into it’s own pot to thrive. This is what I’ve been left with:

I have the tiniest yard space in our new house so I have absolutely no where to plant these so I went to FB marketplace and sold them for $2/pot. 1000+ views later I sold about 10 plants! This more than covers the cost of the seeds and soil 🙂 Not to mention it was SO gratifying!!!
Here’s my next wave of arugula seeds! I’ve not played around with succession planting all that much but we’ll figure it out together!

Here’s my little indoor garden so far….zinnias, jalepeno peppers, biquinto/teardrop peppers, purple cherokee tomatoes, red leaf lettuce, arugula, lupine flowers, lavender, basil, thai basil, yu choy, cilantro, ground cherries, and thyme along with some other random mysterious seeds.

Can’t wait to show you the progress and yield throughout the season!
