Took me a while to figure out how to use facebook invite and i had to do the guestlist 3 TIMES! grr! but i finally sent them. AND THEN, fb had an ERROR! so i really don’t know if it went through…but i’ll just wait and see if anyone RSVPs.
I will now go harass maddie for her baby registry items. babies r us isn’t exactly the most economic place so if we find an item on her registry that can be found somewhere else for cheaper, we’ll post here!
So i discussed with maddie today and we’ve set a new tentative date for the baby shower: Sunday, August 23rd!
Maddie is 28 weeks today!!! how time flies!
The downside is that she is starting to feel the fatigue, and the restrictions on food/drink consumption that comes along with it! 
ie. can’t eat/drink til you’re full anymore lol. (especially hard when at an all-you-can-eat restaurant eh?)
SooooOOOOooo…we started talking this morning and there may be a few changes to the baby shower. We probably won’t be able to make ALL the food ourselves we’ll have to think about tasty places we can order from or maybe consider catering?
Also, maybe we’ll hold it at maddie and dean’s place since she’ll be more comfy at home right?
Last, we might even move the date up to August sometime since we don’t know how mobile maddie will be mid-late September
Anyhow, so lots of planning to do! it could be just another 3 weeks to a month til we see you! 
I probably should’ve posted this a while ago :S sorry! But if anyone is stuck on gift giving ideas for the upcoming house warming, you can always get a gift card/certifitcate from one of the following places:

We had our first baby shower meeting! yay! lol
Unfortunately there are a few things I cannot disclose because (1) they are not decided/finalized and (2) it would just ruin the element of surprise
But i CAN tell you that the shower will likely be held on either Sunday, September 13th or the following week — Sunday, September 20th (more likely). So save the date people! Save the date!
Minor snag in our planning right now is the location/venue. We would ultimately like to find a condo party room in either Richmond Hill or Markham to host the event so that we don’t need to force BBLT and deep fried appies from Destiny’s or Go For Tea on y’all. Besides, i think you guys would enjoy our self made dishes much better So if anyone has any suggestions for this, please let me know!
I’ve never thrown a baby shower before and i think i’ve only been to ONE about 2 years ago…which means i’ll be doing quite a bit of googling in the next couple of months. I actually don’t know much about babies at all…eeek! but i suppose this will be great experience for the future when i have one of my own that is the deal Maddie and I have made…i’ll come over and babysit (get some valuable life experience) if you provide house and food (because we live so far apart now and because i like to eat hehe).
we’re going to meet in the next couple of weeks to start discussing the shower (which will probably happen in September?) so stay tuned!

Welcome to the Mommy Maddie Blog! This blog actually should’ve started about 6 months earlier (sorry!) but better late than never right?
Anyhow, the purpose of this blog is to update on anything related to the bundle of joy that will be joining us in just over 3 months! so the countdown begins!
